Bali underwear have a long and distinguished history in the realm of ladies underwear. Originally the company began as the original push up bras. Created in the 1920s, when bras were meant to show a woman’s physique as flat and lacking any curves at all, Bali underwear bras were created by Sara Stein as a piece of clothing that would be attractive to women yet still serve an important function by providing support. Because she worked at a bra manufacturing plant, Stein had the know-how and experience to begin making push up bras.

She began working on the first Bali underwear bras in her apartment in Brooklyn. When she finished the first bras, her husband sold them to department stores. The “push up bras” helped accentuate a woman’s natural curves while helping her feel feminine and attractive through their beautiful craftsmanship and styling.

The bras were a huge success, and Sara Stein and her husband were considered revolutionaries in their industry. They introduced many other models of Bali underwear bras, models that influenced other companies and brands in their own manufacturing. When the Steins decided to retire, the Hanes Corporation acquired the company and expanded the line to include thousands of styles of Bali underwear, all of which are designed and manufactured according to the same philosophies adhered to by the Steins themselves. Bali underwear is an industry leader in ladies underwear and now produces so many different styles, colors, and shapes that nearly any woman could find multiple pieces of Bali underwear to fit their physique and taste.

Even after 80 years, Bali underwear continue to work toward the goal of flattering women’s curves while providing a product that is attractive and appealing to women.
